Its Valentines Day. Here are your top 3 gifts for your significant other for this special day.

Not sure what to get her for Valentine’s day? Well listen up, I have some great suggestions for you. Here are top three gifts to get your special someone for Valentine’s day.

Jewelry

Jewlery is the most run-for-your-money gift on Valentine’s Day. According to Fox 13 News, $6.5 billion will be spent on Valentine’s Day.

Any jewelry is going to make your love feel special. You know your significant other best so get something that will mean the world to them. You can either go the cheap route or go above and beyond for the ones you love the most.

I am going to focus on affordable jewelry first. I suggest you buy something from Kendra Scott ranging from $30 to $120 for a significant other. This is the perfect gift because it’s affordable and also very fashionable.

Kendra Scott has a variety of  gold and silver jewelry. Things such as Rings, bracelets and necklaces are on this website. This is a good Valentine’s Day gift that she or he will love.

But, if you’re like me and looking for a more spendy option, you should buy a Heart Tag Pendant necklace for around $475 or a Tiffany  18 karat chain running for around $435. This will really put that emphasis on how much they mean to you.

Tiffany is an expensive jewelry brand with their finest diamonds. The least you would spend is around $500. Your significant other would love anything from here I guarantee.

Dinner night out

Coming in at number two on the list is a dinner night out. It’s all up to you to plan the best night out for your loved one.

There are many places you can share your love while stuffing your face. The intimacy of being face to face with your partner in a nice restaurant is heartwarming.

Some good ideas could include a nice steak house, Italian restaurant, asian cuisine or if your significant other is more simple,  american style food does just fine.

In the Homewood-Flossmoor area, I’d recommend Maple Tree Inn, Cilantro, Asian Harbor or Lassen’s Tap for your special night out.

According to restaurant dive, 63% of consumers plan to order from a restaurant on Valentine’s Day. So Why not become part of that 63% to take your significant other out to a nice restaurant.

Flowers

Flowers are one the least expensive items on this list but people still love to get them. It’s the sweet gesture and the thought that counts.

According to Fox News 13, Around $2.9 billion gets spent on flowers ranging from roses bouquets, tulips and lilies. Flowers are small, yet a big deal.

Flowers are beautiful and giving your lover flowers expresses the beauty of your love for them. Flowers can be bought anywhere ranging from $8 to $30.

You can also get custom made flowers with glitter or decorations  in them to make it more special. Some people even get fake costumed flower bouquets so it can last longer.

You can find these florists online by doing a quick search on the apps instagram or tiktok to help you find the flowers your loved one desires.  Since these are custom made they can range from $45 to $100 depending on how many flowers you want added.

In the H-F area, I’d recommend Eighner’s Florist, AJ Blooms Floral Boutique or Flowers Unlimited ll.

Those were the three most-affordable items that you can get your significant other this Valentines Day to show your love and appreciation for them.

Right now you might ask yourself where are the things for the men? These things are gender neutral so the men in your life can feel the luxury of some jewelry, a dinner night out and some flowers too!
