Cult come back

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT — Pictured: Evan Peters as Kai Anderson. CR: Frank Ockenfels/FX

In the dread of the election, American Horror Story always has to be in the middle of it. Phobias are one of the scariest things to deal with and this season, they take being scared to the next level. This years season of AHS is very confusing. In the beginning, it shows a view of the election feed and then showing the reactions of what seems to be the main characters in this years season.

It shows the married couple Ally and Ivy who have a son named Oz. Ally suffers from many phobias that interact with her daily lifestyle. Kai Anderson is a 30 year old man who appears to be a Trump supporter and his actions are very questioning and outward insane. His sister Winter, a liberal democrat, feels upset about the results and begins nannying for Oz, Ally and Ivy’s son.

. Clowns start to mysteriously appear throughout the show and it’s very confusing on who these clowns are and what their intentions are. The first episode gives a bunch of different viewpoints and that’s one of the reasons why I love AHS.

I really like how the show puts in a lot of different types of phobias to scare viewers. Some of them are trypophobia where you are scared of a cluster of tiny holes and coulrophobia where you are scared of clowns. The whole show makes you feel so scared at some points that it keeps you on the edge of your seats.

Honestly, I never really know what is going on throughout the season until the final episode.I really like how you get to piece everything together like a puzzle. It makes you really want to watch more. It’s like a mystery that is waiting to be solved.

I just wish that I didn’t have to wait until the next week to watch another episode. This show is not for the easily frightened, but if you like horror and getting scared constantly I highly recommend this terrifying show.
