Hello! I’m Kimel Davis, a senior and journalism student at H-F.  I’m interested in writing Opinion pieces for The Voyager, I feel that opinion is one of the most important sections as it helps connect people to others opinion and can give the paper a more friendly feel. I enjoy writing things that matter and sometimes that isn’t mainstream news. Journalism is important to me because it gives people a voice, and a place to speak up without raising your voice, all through words and a perceived tone. Journalism is an example of peoples freedom, and to anyone that’s willing to read, a great way to learn about the world.
