In October, I went to Paris for a wedding with my dad. Our time there was short lived but amazing nevertheless and I wanted to share my experience of what it was like.
Everyone should go to Paris as it not only is an amazing experience, but it’s not hard to navigate and there are lots of necessary stores within two blocks. The currency isn’t insanely different than the U.S. currency so worrying about buying things in another currency isn’t an issue.
If you want to experience a foreign country, but don’t want to branch out too far going to Paris is an amazing option especially if you don’t speak a foreign language. I learned a few French phrases on the way to Paris with Duolingo and had little trouble when asking for directions aside from the accent.
