The Vikings offense is ready to take on the TF North Meteors.

The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings began their 2019 football season with a bang by blowing out the TF North Meteors, with a score of 54-20.

There were outstanding performances all around, but juniors William Pauling and Sean Allen put on a show. The duo combined for 4 touchdowns in the game and had some amazing catches. Allen also recorded an amazing 50-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter, and an astounding 73-yard touchdown reception during the second quarter with the defense all over him.

The defense limited the yardage gained by the Meteors. The defense’s night was highlighted by senior LaVoise McCoy’s defensive touchdown. They put the pounding on the Meteor’s offense forcing them to punt on several drives, and one of the punts were returned by Senior Donovan Dolittle for a 91 yard touchdown.

The Vikings go on to do battle against the Penn High School Kingsmen on September 6, and they face The Thunderbolts, from Victor J. Andrews High School, on Homecoming night, September 13.
