At H-F, there are countless opportunities for students to express themselves. For Jazmin Rhodes, the ideal medium is through the stage.

Singing is a huge part of her life, in and out of the classroom.

“I love the feeling of being able to perform,” she stated.

Rhodes has starred in many H-F productions including Peter Wendy, The Lion King Jr., A Spare Me, and Madea (with Group Interpretation).

Her involvement with theater is not her only commitment. She is also in the sophomore choir at H-F.

On Feb. 9, Rhodes competed in the Solo and Ensemble contest. She received a #1 ranking in her Solo performance, as well as her Ensemble.

She stated, “I’m proud of my accomplishments. My ensemble and I have worked hard to get where we are.”

Rhodes is certainly headed for success in the H-F Performing Arts program.

Her determination and hard work have already brought her so many achievements, it will surely continue to make or break her career.

Watch out for her in the upcoming spring production of The SpongeBob Musical!
