Vianney Martinez, class of 2025, has always loved photography and taking photos. Martinez wished to pause reality and capture the moments in life. “I’d go in my backyard in middle school and take pictures of the garden..to try to find that one picture.” Martinez is very much so inspired by the things around her, constantly looking through the mundane and finding the art within it. She describes her style as storytelling “I like being able to tell narratives and really capture the story or emotions I’m trying to tell … .I usually build on characters” she remarks.As a junior Martinez is planning to take art classes after high school at Michigan State university.
