Senior Vianney Martinez will be given the opportunity to be featured in the Voyager artchive. Her art has been around the library and a part of the Voyager newspaper before.
When Martinez graduates, she will be attending Pomona University in California. “I’m still not fully decided on my major, but I plan to double major in cognitive science, digital media, or art. I do plan to continue making art in the future, in whatever way possible,” she said.
Martinez showcased fun projects during her time at H-F, “I’ve been doing art at H-F for 3 years, I started my sophomore year.”
She also contributed to making decorations for Día de Los Muertos and Hispanic Heritage Month in and around the library.
“I’d say my photoshoot with one of my close friends, Briea Levant, is currently my favorite. I did a photoshoot of her in a dress I designed and created, made and dyed all the props, and did her makeup for this photoshoot,” shared Martinez.
Martinez explained what her favorite moment was during high school with the photos of her friend. “ I spent months on it and hand-painted the frame I printed out the photo on.”
Martinez’s artwork always amazes students, and H-F wishes her all the best in her college stay.
