What it did for me: Honestly, I was so excited to try this new product by Dove. I love their products from their bar soap, to their body wash, to their lotion. I had been looking for a new body scrub so when I found out my favorite beauty brand came out with one, I didn’t hesitate to buy it. I purchased the macadamia and rice milk fragrance. When I first opened it, I was pleasantly surprised by the smell as it lingered around me.The application of the polish was smooth and the beads were gentle and not too harsh in comparison to other scrubs. After applying it and washing it off, my skin felt as soft as a cloud. It made my skin feel rejuvenated and super smooth. I will definitely incorporate the Dove body polish into my self care routine.

Product: Health and Beauty Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
Where you can buy it: Your local beauty supply store, Target or Amazon
Price: $7.99

What the product claims to do: This bentonite clay, known as the world’s most powerful facial claims to pull all of the impurities out of you face and skin.

What it did for me: I’ll admit that I was a little hesitant to purchase this face mask. Since my skin is sensitive, I didn’t want the clay to make me break out even though it was supposed to help clear my breakout. My friends recommended it to me multiple times, so I finally caved in and gave it a try. The smell was a little unpleasant, but not too bad. I left it on for the recommended 10 minutes and then rinsed my face with warm water. During the 10 minutes, I felt my face tingle, but I didn’t really feel it pulsating like it claimed. After I rinsed my face, I realized a pimple I had was almost gone. I think I would have do try the mask again because I wasn’t convinced of its power.
