Dustin Johnson pulled through with a win in the Masters in November, and him winning it proves that he’s one of the best to ever do it.

In the Masters tournament, there are four rounds of 18 holes. All rounds are hosted at the same course, and this year it was hosted in Augusta, Georgia. Par there is 36 strokes on both the back and front nine, totaling up to 72 strokes for the 18. If you don’t know, par is the score on a hole that an expert is expected to score.

Let’s get into the good stuff. Throughout the four-round tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club, he was able to shoot under par. This makes him stand out because most pro golfers barely get under par or stay even, and throughout the four rounds, he was able to finish four strokes under par. That’s insane!

If you don’t know much about the guy, then here is some information. He is from the U.S. and he is currently the best golfer in the world.  He stands at 6’4, making him one of the tallest golfers of all time. To be that tall and have that much power and control is just mesmerizing to me.  To have the best golfer in the world represent our country is a big accomplishment.

However, I do think that Dustin Johnson did deserve the title just because he’s worked so hard this year and he has been on a roll. He has won other titles this year; The Tour Championship, The Northern Trust and The Travelers Championship are just a few of them. Overall, Dustin Johnson has had a spectacular year and we hope to see him do the same next year.
